Scandic’s first hotel in Stuttgart is now open
On Monday, Scandic Stuttgart Europaviertel opened its doors to the 174-room hotel in the heart of the city. With its central location, the newly renovated hotel offers a vibrant atmosphere and modern amenities, attracting travelers for meetings, events, and experiences. The opening event brought together guests to celebrate the official launch of Scandic’s first hotel in Stuttgart.
“Stuttgart is a key hub in Germany. Opening our first hotel here marks an important step in strengthening Scandic’s presence in Germany. With its central location, the hotel is ready to welcome both business and leisure travelers to one of the country’s most vibrant cities,” says Laura Tarkka, Chief Operating Officer at Scandic.
Stuttgart is one of Germany’s largest cities and a key European business hub, renowned for its automotive and technology industries as well as its vibrant startup scene. With growing tourism and strong demand from business travelers, Scandic is committed to establishing a solid presence, welcoming guests for meetings, events, and memorable experiences.
With the opening of Scandic Stuttgart Europaviertel, Scandic now operates eight hotels in key German locations such as Berlin, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Munich and Nürnberg with a total of 2,600 rooms. In addition, Scandic has three announced hotels in the pipeline. This supports the company’s ambitious growth targets announced in February 2025: adding approximately 10,000 new rooms by 2030, including around 3,000 rooms through selective expansion in Germany.
