Scandic expands its smart urban hotel offer - Scandic Go - to Finland
Scandic Go is a modern hotel concept designed for urban travelers. Combining smart design, digital solutions and convenient self-service, it offers a smooth, flexible and affordable stay without compromising the guest experience. With food and drinks available around the clock, Scandic Go is designed to offer a convenient, accessible and great value-stay close to city life.
“With the opening of our first Scandic Go in Finland, we broaden our offering and create more relevant choices for different types of travelers in Finland. Our new Scandic Go hotels in Turku and Oulu reflect Scandic’s long-term commitment to locations where we see strong potential for sustainable growth. On top of a growing demand for business and meeting travel, these regions also offer a vibrant culture life and nature experiences which we’ve seen are interests that attract the typical Scandic Go guest”, says Laura Tarkka, COO Finland, Germany and Poland at Scandic Hotels.
Sustainability is an integrated part of how Scandic operates and develops its hotels. Scandic Go is designed with a focus on resource efficiency, including optimized use of energy, water and materials, as well as solutions that support reduced waste. The two new Scandic Go hotels are certified with the Nordic Swan Ecolabel, which sets strict requirements for environmental performance and is independently verified.
