September 29, 2017 | 14:40 CET | Categories: General press releases | Non regulatory

Capital gain to affect Q3 results positively by around 17 MSEK

Scandic has on September 29 signed an agreement to divest the hotel operation at Scandic Vierumäki in Finland to Vierumäki Country Club. The hotel, with 180 rooms, has been operated by Scandic since 2010.

– We are happy that Vierumäki Country Club is taking over as the operator of the hotel. It was important for us to find a suitable operator with clear ambitions to support and develop the hotel services as an integral part of the resort, says Aki Käyhkö, Managing Director Scandic Finland.

A capital gain related to the transaction will affect results for the third quarter by around 17 MSEK.
