In association with Hospitality Technology Europe, HSMAI Europe has announced the first ever Top 20 extraordinary minds in sales, marketing and technology across Europe. Scandic is the winner in the category “The digital winner” for its online check-out solution.
The Awards Ceremony took place at the prestigious Jumeirah Carlton Tower in London on Tuesday 4 February. Scandic’s CEO, Frank Fiskers, was there to receive the award:
– I’m proud to receive this award on behalf of Scandic and I am very pleased to see our digital check-out solution attracting international recognition, says Frank Fiskers.
The 2014 Top 20 laureates have been judged for their recent work, based on the following criteria: creativity and innovation, cutting edge sales, marketing, revenue and technology campaigns, achievement in challenging situations, and sales efforts resulting in significant gains, by a panel of senior executives.
– This award recognises the best digital marketing campaign in the hotel industry. We judged the entries on the strength of their digital presences but, more importantly, on the impact of the campaign on their customers. We congratulate the winner, Scandic Hotels, for significantly improving their customers’ experience through their online check-out feature, says Professor Bård Tronvoll, Norway, Chairman of the jury.
