Scandic’s organization is decentralized and run through 230 hotels in seven countries. Scandic benefits from its size by having centralized functions within areas such as sales and marketing, purchasing, human resources, IT and product development.
The Nordic markets each have a Country Head who reports to the Group’s COO. Hotels in Belgium, Poland and Germany report to Head of Europe who reports to the Group’s COO.
Group management includes functions within business development, operations, finance, sales and marketing, human resources and communication.
